About Us

We are a company focused on improving the energy efficiency of individuals by involving them in online communities. We work towards uniting those who want to use energy sources more efficiently, including renewable energy sources; and also to better inform others of the choices they have, thereby encouraging them to take the right steps in living a more sustainable, energy-efficient lifestyle. With a focus on energy conservation, efficiency and home energy savings, we created this site in order to promote the creation of communities that will effectively work towards these goals, and encourage networking amongst them.

SpeakEnergy is here to provide you with information about your energy usage and ways to save energy at home. We do this by focusing on changing your behaviors at home and work, as well as on the support structure you will need to make these changes and stick with them. This way, you will gain a better understanding and control over your utility bills, while cutting down your greenhouse gas emissions

Our sister site, Useful or Waste, is dedicated to further teaching people about the different ways energy is used. Through that site, we want to get peoples’ opinions on whether they think certain types of energy are being used in a good, beneficial way, or if they are simply being wasted. By doing this, we are able to get a better idea of the public’s opinion on different available resources, and thus will be able to work to inform them better to make an energy-efficient change.

Along with working with people and communities on an individual or group basis, we are also working with Sustainability representatives of different organizations to help get employees more involved with their company’s environmental sustainability initiatives. By doing so, it will give the employees more insight and understanding on the importance of energy efficiency and sustainability; and thus, the employees will be much more inclined to put these sustainability efforts into effect, both at work and at home.

By getting people to work together to save energy, and switch more to renewable energy sources, SpeakEnergy is doing its part to help the environment and stop Global Warming.
